Jouwairia Lahboub-Daayf currently is a Professor at the ETP (École Technique et Professionnelle) of the St. Boniface University in Winnipeg Manitoba. She teaches Business Administration courses including Entrepreneurship, Management, Human Resources, Marketing-related courses and Organizational Behavior. She got her graduate education at the University of Manitoba and her undergraduate education from Al-Akhawayne University, Laval University, University of Prince Edward Island, as well as the University of Manitoba. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island (2000), and an MBA from the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba (2009). She also got a Canadian Securities Certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute. Before joining the St. Boniface University in 2010, Jouwairia had accumulated a load of work experience in both public and private sectors. Among other positions, she worked for Surgipath Canada Inc., under the multinational corporation Leica Microsystems (2005-2010), the Canadian Pacific Railway (2003-2004), Investors Group (2002-2003) and the Canada Farm Income Program under Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (2001-2002). Jouwairia also owned a business in the food sector in the past. She is fully bilingual and a member of several professional associations and societies including “The Associates”, CPHR Manitoba (Chartered Professional in Human Resources), and the Executive Board of the Winnipeg’s “Garderie Les Tournesols”. She organized several student and community events at the university and served as a member of many internal and external committees, including as a member of the review committee for the NKE exam (Canadian national exam for designation in Human Resources). Jouwairia was highlighted in one of the “Canadian Museum for Human Rights” interviews, as well as in several media programs for many community and/or student activities she initiated and/or organized.
